Charley Hull wants to embarrass fan who thinks he would make every cut on LPGA tour

Charley Hull has called out a social media troll by challenging them to a round of golf.

The 27-year-old, who has won two LPGA titles, was responding to a post from golf performance coach, Lou Stagner, who was sharing a direct message he received via social media.

The message from a male follower to Stagner read: “I am a 3 handicapper that plays from 6900 yards and I hit my driver 290. I would make every cut on the LPGA and be a top 20 player.”

Stagner did not rate his chances and predictre the person in question would finish ‘DFL’ (dead f***ing last) in every single event and Hull was not impressed by what she’d seen.

Sharing Stagner’s post, she wrote: “Shall we sort this game out? I’ll let him play off the red tees whilst I’ll play off the whites.”

Even with Hull’s offer to allow the male troll to play off the most forgiving tee, a clash against the female star would not end well.

That said, talkSPORT is sure that many golf fans would pay good money to see the LPGA star ranked number 17 make a fool out of him.

Hull is known for her all or nothing approach – the Kettering native hits the golf ball with more venom and vigour than anyone on the LPGA Tour.

Turning professional when she was 16, Hull quickly became the youngest-ever golfer to compete in the Solheim Cup in 2014, aged 17.
